good in the life of another person. Heavenly joy is like that.
People in heaven experience delight when good things
happen to others around them. They also experience delight
over the goodness that exists within others; and they love to
be agents of that goodness.

 

The Word indicates that the joy we feel over goodness in others
is a mirror of the infinite joy the Lord feels when any one of us
receives goodness from Him. What are one or two ways in
which you have felt the delight of another person as delight
in yourself this Christmas? What are one or two ways in
which you have felt delight in the goodness within someone

To aid in putting it together, we need donations of materials from our community.  Chief among them, we are asking for any 1x2s, hay bails, old sheets, and bed pillows you have that you might be able to bring to church this Sunday.  Claudia Wood-Osmus will be collecting them for this project. 

 

 

This was the date we originally planned to hold Path to Bethlehem.  Since this year we are doing a roadside display, we thought it would be nice to still hold onto the date as an opportunity to gather as a congregation.  We will start as 6pm around the new firepit by the gazebo.  There will be smores, homemade gingerbread, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and water. We will sing carols and read the Christ Child.  We hope you can join us!
