Charity in the Common Soldier. If they look to the Lord and shun evils as sins, and sincerely, justly, and faithfully do their duty, they also become charity.

Before the battle they raise their mind to the Lord, and commit their life into His hand. After they have done this, their mind is let down from its elevation into the body and becomes brave. The thought of the Lord-which they are then unconscious of -remains still in their mind, above their bravery. And then if they die, they die in the Lord; if they live, they live in the Lord. Announcements for Sunday (05/28/23)

McCardell Family Vacation Schedule:

Jessica and I leave on June 14th to attend the Mr. Rogers Conference (for pastoral professional development) returning on the 17th. Directly afterward, we will leave as a family for vacation from the 18th to the 26th. If there are any questions, please reach out to the pastor: ethan.mccardell@gmail.com. For the two Sundays we're away (the 18th and the 25th) David Synnestvedt has volunteered to run a video and discussion group at 11am. Join us!

SRC Annual Meeting, June 11 2023:

This will serve as your official notice that the Annual Meeting of the Sunrise Chapel congregation will take place on Sunday, June 11th at 12:50pm. This will also serve as notice that Billy Baty is nominated to serve the vacant SRC Board position. We hope you'll attend as we share exciting new news about our coming strategic initiatives and financial modeling for the year ahead!

Arizona Mountain Camp:
