Johanna Von Mayr Party! (11/02/25)

If you ask your computer's search engine what it knows about Johanna, it will begin by telling you the following:  Johanna von Mayr is a resident of  Tucson, Arizona, primarily known in the local community for her role as a principal gardener and for submitting letters to the editor to the Arizona Daily Star.

If you the dig a little deeper, her love for her family and her connection to Sunrise Chapel are the next things to pop up!  I mention this not to creep us all out about how available our info is on the internet, but to ask the question: what would it say about each of us?  As I considered that question, I would count myself fortunate if primary mentions included things like: engaged citizen who loved and supported their community, who cared deeply for their surrounding environs, their family, their church.  

A number of years ago, one of our small group spiritual growth campaigns included the sentence: "one of the greatest expressions of what we love is how we choose to spend our time."  Johanna has left a lasting legacy here in how she has chosen to invest her time and gifts with us, and we - her church family - seek to cherish and celebrate that time (and we hope) pay it forward!  

To that end, we are inviting everyone to CHURCH AND LUNCHEON (11/02/25) for a celebration in her honor and an opportunity to bid her farewell as she moves to New Mexico to be closer to family at this time in her life.  May she travel with our love and prayers!  JOIN US!
