SRC - GIFT WRAPPING After Church (11/16/25)

As you may remember, Linda Waddell is leading us to completing of our Christmas Project (gifts for families in need from our community) BEFORE Thanksgiving this year.  

To that end, please join us after church TODAY to help wrap presents which will be given to the families.  You will be given a "wrapping station" and instructions to help in Friendship Hall after the service.  JOIN US!

SRC 2025 Christmas Readings Small Group! 

(Starting 12/2)

Part of our tradition each year at Christmas time is to have a small group read from the Christmas story each day of December and reflect on its meaning for our spiritual life.  This year, Kim and Claudia-Wood Osmus have volunteered to host a weekly group to encourage each other in reading, reflection and spiritual task work.  We hope you will join us (beginning in December) on the 2nd, the 9th, the 16th, and the 23rd @ 7pm for these group sessions.  More info in our next newsletter!  

Serving Those Experiencing Food Insecurity At This Time (Ongoing)

In this time of unique need, Sunrise Chapel has decided to host a Food Hope Chest at the end of our drive with meal kits for families experiencing food insecurity.  We are asking for the following non-perishable food items to be donated:

Spaghetti kit (incl. noodles and sauce)
Alfredo kit (incl. noodles and sauce)
Progresso soups 
Ramen

Canned chicken 
Cases of water

SRC Thanksgiving Sunday Meal (11/23/25)

There will be a Thanksgiving Sunday  meal after church (the Sunday before Thanksgiving) again this year!  The church will provide the meats, and we are asking members of the congregation to bring favorite sides and supplements to share!  There will be a sign up sheet in the kitchen starting after church THIS WEEK.  For more information (or to sign up) contact Linda Waddell:  (575)-740-0140

Ginger Bread House Making - After Church Activity (12/07/25)

In the Spirit of the Season, there will be a group providing materials and support for the making of our own gingerbread houses after church the first Sunday in December.  Bring your patience, creative side, and a willingness to work as a team to a table after service (on 12/7) and let's see how creative you are!  JOIN US!
