This weekend, November 3 & 4, our Regional Pastor, David Lindrooth will be visiting Sunrise Chapel members and friends and co-leading the Sunday church service. He is visiting in conjunction with my annual professional development review process, so the more input he receives from members and friends, the better understanding he will have of how things are going for our
local church.
Please consider talking with him and sharing your perspective.
If you think certain things are going well, it would be good for him to hear.
If you think something
needs to change, that would also be good for him to hear.
If you have questions, this is a great time to ask.
His flight arrives Friday night and departs early Monday
morning.
Drop in Meet and Greet
On Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, David will be in the main Chapel small group room (off the lobby) for anyone to drop in, join the circle of whoever's present, and talk with him in a small group setting. You can come and go anytime from 11 am to 1 pm. There is no set
agenda. Bring your thoughts and questions.
Private Visits
If you prefer to have a private, one-on-one visit, feel free to call/text him to arrange a time to talk in person, or just schedule a phone call. His cell phone is
215-514-0388
Sunday Schedule
Remember that Michael Brown is starting his series of Bible Study meetings this Sunday at 9:30 in the church library.
Before 11, David will be busy preparing for the
children's talk and the sermon, and together he and I will offer the Holy Supper.
He will join everyone for the Sunday luncheon, but then afterwards he will meet with the Board members for a while.
And remember there is also a Planning Meeting for the February Fundraiser, so a few Board members might have to choose between the two
meetings.
Your Voice Counts
As they say about voting in general elections, each person's voice counts. The same is true with visits like this from a Regional Pastor. Your voice, your thoughts and feelings, your perspective counts and helps.
Oh, you can also talk with me!
Since this trip is associated with my annual professional development review, if you would like to take some time for a one-on-one with me to share any thoughts, feelings, or questions, I would be honored to meet with you.
Thank you for your love and dedication to Sunrise
Chapel,
With love and respect,
Nathan
