This Sunday, I will again livestream a church service
Our 11 o'clock service will be livestreamed using our YouTube channel (see below for links).
Immediately after the service, Kelly Woofenden and I will host a Zoom meeting (videoconference call) for anyone who wants to join remotely. See below for instructions.
Tomorrow's topic
I'll be talking about Task # 23 "Not Worrying." This can be challenging since there are so many possibilities of things to worry about. But the Lord does say not to worry, so let's explore what that might mean! How do you manage your level of worry? What do you do to reduce your worry? What is your go-to replacement? I'd love to hear from you today. Drop me a note,
or give me a call. It always helps inform my message to hear what you are thinking about on the topic.
"Children's" talk - Please gather a few supplies
This is actually for any adult, too!
Before our Sunday time together, please get a couple of items and have them on hand for this interactive portion of the service:
- a container with a lid (a jar, a shoe box, a pottery vessel, etc.)
- some sheets of writing paper, sticky notes, or 3x5 cards
- a pencil or pen or marker
I will be explaining a way of encouraging each of us to create a space - physically and spiritually - to help deal with our worries.
If you want to read a version of the task ahead of time, go to choosejoynow.org and look up Task #23 - Not Worrying. Or if you have a card deck of the tasks, get it ready.

Zoom meeting after church tomorrow, March 29
This Sunday, immediately after the church service which will be livestreamed on You Tube, Kelly Woofenden and I will be hosting a Zoom meeting for any member or friend to attend. The purpose of this Zoom meeting is to check in with each other as a church community, say hello, share a little, and talk about how we can serve in this strange and unprecedented health crisis while maintaining physical distancing and
other health mandates.
If you are familiar with Zoom, you know what to do. The link is below and the Meeting ID (if you need it).
If you are UNFAMILIAR with Zoom, here’s a link to PRACTICE being in a meeting. (No one else will be in the practice meeting.) Anytime, on your computer or smartphone, go to https://zoom.us/test and select “Join a test meeting.” Follow the prompts. Depending on your device, you may be
prompted to download an app, if your device can accept it. You may have other options. Once you get the test meeting started, you can play with your setup, including adjusting your camera or lighting so you can be seen; and you can find the buttons to mute your microphone and camera. When you are finished with the test, look for a button to “Leave meeting” or just close the window or app.
What to do on Sunday:
Immediately AFTER the service ends, then please join the Zoom meeting with either the link or the phone-in instructions below.
If you need the Meeting ID, it is: 414 341 900
If you ONLY want to call in (without your computer or video), use any one of these phone numbers and follow the prompts. You will have to enter the Meeting ID. You will be able to listen and talk (but you won’t see anyone and no one will see you).
