A dear member of the Sunrise Chapel Women's Group and a newcomer to Sunrise Chapel
January 22, 1938 – August 28, 2020
The family is planning a private celebration of life.
I so enjoyed getting to know Ann and her family over the past few years. She graced us with her presence at church services and luncheons as well as in various small groups. She was a regular participant in the Women's Group, both in person before CoViD-19 and then through Zoom during the pandemic.
Ann's faith was strong, including her belief in the continuation of life and her anticipation of being reunited with her husband Bert and daughter Stacy. I can imagine her nodding in agreement with these words of Jesus:
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3
My heart goes out to Ann's children, Mona, Mark, and Julia. May you feel comforted with the Lord's generous love as you grieve her absence. And may you be touched by Ann's joy as she awakens to the fullness of spiritual life.
And may we all take time to appreciate the spiritual dimension of our lives and relationships today knowing that the quality of our inner life is what matters most.
With love and respect,
