Technology woes

Yesterday the technology "gremlins" interfered with our plans

If you tried to attend Betsy Gladish's Celebration of Life, I’m so sorry for the technological snafu. We experienced an insurmountable battle between the camera equipment and You Tube and "lost". It is humbling and frustrating to be at the mercy of technology that suddenly stops working after months of success.

I will continue to work with the equipment with the help of my IT volunteer until we get it working again. I hope to be able to broadcast a Sunday worship service at 11 am today. "Stay tuned."

If we are successful getting the system back up and running this morning, we will broadcast Betsy's Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm MT today.

"What would Betsy do in a situation like this?" I think she would focus on being so grateful for everyone being together and visiting in spite of the challenges, and would look for some silver lining. She lived by the phrase "loving what is."

Thankfully, the family enjoyed a very touching and meaningful gathering on Zoom

Thank you to everyone who patiently stayed present for the Zoom meeting to begin. It was so beautiful to hear from so many people who love Betsy. And thank you to Kelly Woofenden for facilitating it.

Once we have a recording of the service, it will be archived and viewable afterwards on Sunrise Chapel's You Tube Channel.
