Our dear friend, Kitty, passed into the spiritual world Thursday, March 11. Her family welcomes you to attend a celebration of life this Saturday, April 24 at 2 pm . You can come in person or participate online via our You Tube livestreaming.
The livestream will start about 10 minutes ahead of time. Here are two ways to access it:
1. Just go to sunrisechapel.org and navigate to Worship > Livestreaming, and anyone should be able to watch it on our site.
2. If that doesn’t work, go directly to our You Tube channel “Sunrise Chapel Livestream” at www.youtube.com/c/SunriseChapelLivestream. If you go there ahead of time and you have a free account with Google or You Tube, you can subscribe to our channel and click on the “bell” to get notified of the event.
Since the middle of February, 2021, Kitty was under hospice care at the La Famiglia care home where she had been living for a little over a year. Because of CoViD, visiting was not allowed except by the hospice chaplain who said she thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Kitty. She also noted that the staff loved Kitty and described her as happy and affirmative.
For many years Kitty was sincerely and energetically devoted to helping lead the Women's Guild and organize the Sunrise Chapel kitchen, as well as plan all manner of activities involving food for Sunday luncheons, memorial receptions, and other special events. We miss her.
She is survived by three sons, Steve, Dave, and Rob. She will be joining her son, Greg, who preceded over ten years ago and her brother Tom Bell (pictured below).
During Saturday's service, there will be time to share any thoughts, reflections, and stories about your personal connection with Kitty.
Afterwards, we will proceed to the Sunrise Chapel Memorial Garden for an interment of her ashes in a place of honor.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. All who believe in Me, though they may die, they shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” John 11:25,26
